This is a core entry-level single malt whisky launched by Suntory's Yamazaki Distillery in 2014. It was introduced to address market shortages caused by the high demand for aged expressions while serving as the "definitiv e introductory representative" of the Yamazaki series. The whisky is characterized by rich fruity notes (strawberry, cherry, peach), along with honey, vanilla, and Yamazaki's signature subtle aromas of sandalwood and incense.
