The Kurayoshi brand was established by the historic Matsui Shuzo (founded in 1910) of Tottori Prefecture. This "Kurayoshi 12 Years Old" is one of its core products, hailing from the city of Kurayoshi where the significant temperature variations are highly conducive to whisky maturation. It is a pure malt whisky, blended from malt spirits sourced from various distilleries.
